RC Hobbies Club - Where the fun never stops!

Hows everyone doing tonight....Me?...not soo well.

The Beginning:
Two weeks ago I was sharpening a machete to do some yard work and ended up getting a piece of metal stuck in my eye and had to go to the hospital to get it out (YES I was wearing safety glasses)....over the course of that week my eye had finally gotten better thankfully.

After my eye had started to heal up I got a wonderful little suprise one morning...KIDNEY STONES..oh yay..So te weekend comes and goes and I FINALLY think I'm getting a break...Nope...Now I get the flu....and another week is gone.

I fried my esc on my crawler last Tuesday just driving it around some very "easy" terrain for photos and all of the sudden the smoke genie came to say hi. I had also thought that my steering servo was gone but that seems to be in mild condition...for now.

I just tonight figured out my servo might still have some life left in it..After a LOOONG trial and error period. See, Before this all happened to my crawler I had never had to take a servo apart so this was all new territory to me....For the record...I don't like that little adjusting knob for the servo's motor....

So anyways..Everything had broke down last week and I sold some stuff all week to get the cash for replacements...I get the cash needed and go to where I normally get my servos from and wouldn't ya know....he's sold out...No biggie, I guess I'll just wait...right?...NO...Moter's Day was just a day away and I had no clue.

So what did I have to do...Spend all my cash on my wife, mom, stepmom, aunts and grandmothers....I love them so they come first. But I just wanted to complain about it...It wouldn't be wise for me to hold all that in...



So anyways, I had to get all that off of my chest. None of it is made up (I wish it all was) and that's exactly how everything has happened.

Thanks for reading up on my frustration....I will continue to browse the web until I get my esc ordered...whenever that will be...

damn! I had a ty start to the year, but it is finally looking up a little bit.

Thanks guys, I don't plan on ing every time something goes wrong... I was just having a hellacious night last night and had to get that off of my chest.

What put me over the edge to where I had to talk about it was that damn servo...

Damn , and I was gonna about hitting a rock and breaking a tie rod . Guess it's not that big of a deal .
